Immediately after my three births, having something cooling down below was so important for healing. These pads are easy to stock up while you're nesting. Also known adorably as padsicles and peri-pops (because they soothe your sore perineum), they're easy to make and can be prepared ahead of time by you or by a birth attendant if you've put it off till the last minute.
